Billing & Design Fees
Oreana Designs & Contracting charges either an hourly rate of $200 plus GST per hour, or a flat project fee. Project fees are determined after a client meeting and a concise understanding of client needs and the full scope of the job. If a quote is required, the fee is $500 plus GST. This fee will be credited to the final overall project cost upon acceptance of the quote.
Billing as a flat fee requires payment as specific parts of the project become completed. A portion of the fee is required up front as a deposit to begin the project. That portion is used upon completion and applied to your final payment due.
Billing a project hourly includes billing for all communication time between Andrea. This includes - emails, phone calls, text messages, etc. Billing terms are twice a month, on the 15th, as well as at the end of each month.
THE agreement
After our first client meeting, and a full understanding of the client’s needs, Andrea will draft the contract. The contract will outline all services the client requires, as well as payment terms for the project. The client will then sign the contract and make a first payment. After that,Oreana Designs & Contracting can begin the job.
Design fees generally include
Initial meeting, site visits, one or two additional meetings, shopping trips as required by project, documentation for the design - including drawings, specifications, appliance quotes and general notes.
Clients requiring a project that needs to be addressed sooner rather than later, with a tight deadline, will be charged an additional fee in order for Oreana Designs & Contracting to accommodate their needs.
Purchasing through my studio
Clients requiring product purchases through Oreana Designs & Contracting, such as window treatments, flooring, tiling for example, will receive 100% of any discounts received through our personal vendors.
One-time Consultations & Other options
Andrea is happy to meet at your location and quote on any project, big or small! Usually, 1hour for a one-time consultation works best and can be easily accommodated into her schedule. Project start dates are always to be determined based on her current scheduled projects.
How we stay connected
Andrea makes herself available between 8:00 am to 6:00 pm to chat via phone calls, emails as well as text messages. As she is usually either out driving, between job sites or in meetings, Andrea will always get back to you as soon as possible if she missed your message.
